INTEG 121 Design and Problem-Solving

Collaborative Resource: Prototyping Sources

We're creating a personalized set of Yellow Pages, using wiki collaboration software, compiling a comprehensive list of area suppliers, noting their:

  • name
  • type (hardware, stationery, surplus, salvage, thrift store, etc.)
  • location (in town, online)
  • contact information
  • opening hours
  • distance from the university (approximate kilometres/travel time starting at EV2 Ring Road entrance)
  • convenient travel routes

Create an individual TWiki page, named for your particular supplier, and cross-reference it for access via the TWiki menu by the aggregate pages for:

  • category
  • distance
  • name
  • etc.

If you are creating an entry for a Chain Store, the nearest outlet should be the focus of the majority of your write-up, but others in area could be noted.

It's BOGGLE of course; we're not hoping to get 40 entries for TheSource in Westmount Place.

Include your name on your TWiki page, so that others can seek clarification or make suggestions. You can continue to update and improve your page throughout the remainder of the term.

Objective:

  • individual, comprehensive TWiki pages, noting the particulars of a supplier, cross-referenced for easy lookup.
